Recipe: Southwestern Turkey Sliders with Chipotle Mayo
1:15 PMIt's time for cookouts! These spicy turkey sliders with chipotle mayo are my favorite thing on the grill right now. Perfect bite size and packed FULL of flavor!
Southwestern Turkey Sliders
Ingredients:
1/3 cup minced onion
3 garlic cloves minced
Optional: serrano pepper minced
1 ½ TBS oil
2 pounds ground turkey breast
2 egg whites
1 T Worcestershire sauce
Seasonings:
1T salt
1 tsp pepper
1 T coriander
2T chili powder
2 T paprika
Chipotle powder
1 tsp crushed red peppers
1 T oregano
2 tsp cumin
Pepper jack cheese
Slider buns or small soft dinner rolls
Toppings: Lettuce, tomato, avocado, red onion, jalapenos, and CHIPOTLE MAYO
1. Preheat grill
2. In a pan cook onions and garlic in 1 ½ T oil for 3 min. let cool. Combine turkey, egg whites,
seasoning, onions and peppers and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with fork. Divide into 12 sliders.
Salt and pepper before putting on grill.
3. Place sliders on grill and cook until turkey is done and thermometer inserted in center reads
4. 165 degrees about 3 minutes or longer per side. Melt pepper jack on slider just before done.
We used grilled pretzel buns for the buns and array of delicious toppings, including creamy Havarti cheese and pepper jack cheese.

Combine 1 cup mayonnaise with ¼ cup lemon juice, 1 TBS chopped parsley, 1 TBS minced garlic
and 4 minced chipotle chile peppers in adobe sauce. Season with salt and pepper
